In her skills, Fade has the ability to reveal the location of her opponents, and is a fundamental piece in any Agent composition. With that in mind, let's get to what really matters.
Tips for playing with the Agent Fade
Use Seize ability (Q)
The first ability that catches the eye in Valorant's new character is Seize. The skill, activated after pressing the "Q" key, causes the Agent to launch an orb that will hover for a certain time, and as soon as it collides with an opponent, it will cause the opponent to be trapped inside of a circle for a few seconds.
Another important issue with this skill is that Seize makes opponents decayed and deaf. Therefore, Seize ability can be a good combination with other Agents of the same nature.
Use the Haunt ability (E)
Fade's second skill is activated after pressing the "E" key. The ability is called "Haunt" and causes the character to launch an orb that upon encountering a surface or an opponent will reveal its position within a 30 meter perimeter. Also, after the skill reveals the enemy's position, opponents caught by the skill will leave tracks on the ground. Therefore, the Haunt skill can help your teammates get a better sense of where enemies are within the area.
Using the Prowler ability (C)
Fade's third skill is Prowler. It is activated with the “C” key and the player must hold the action button for a few moments to activate it effectively. After this activation, the Agent will have the ability to find an opponent that is in front of her, and then increase her speed. Then, if Fade manages to hit its target, it will make the opponent blind for a certain time. This skill can be used after activating the Haunt skill as it will have a higher chance of following your enemy who has left tracks on the ground.
Use the Nightfall ability (X)
Finally, Fade's last ability is Nightfall, which is her ultimate. It is activated after pressing the “X” key, and will release a wave of energy around the map. If any enemy is hit by the Nightfall, they will suffer deafness and decay, as well as show their tracks on the ground. So, a tip is to combo this ultimate with Fade's previous abilities, to have better kill chances.
