In addition to Spain, four other countries have won the tournament: the USA and Germany with three titles each, and Japan and Korea DPR with two titles each.

When and where does it take place?
This year's FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup will be held for the first time in Colombia, the famous coffee-growing country known as Cafetero, from the of 31 August to 22 September.
It will also be the second edition of the tournament organised in the CONMEBOL region, after Chile hosted the event in 2008.
Fifty-two matches will be played in four stadiums in three host cities: Bogotá, Cali and Medellín.
Colombia has hosted two previous FIFA tournaments: the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup, the men's equivalent of this competition, and the 2016 FIFA Futsal World Cup.
Qualified Teams
This year, for the first time, 24 teams will participate, instead of the 16 that played in previous editions.
With the exception of the host country, the remaining 23 teams participate in a qualification process through the continental confederations, which organise various women's youth tournaments to determine their representatives.
