Tips contest Academy
How does it work?
All our members are welcome to participate in Academy Tipster contest! Everyone is eligible to win the prizes.
The prizes are paid via Skrill, and you can use it in your favourite bookmaker. It is Skrill balance for you to deposit wherever you like.
Participate for free in this Tipster Contest and test your abilities without risking money. At the same time you will be able to analyse your performance and find out where you win or lose more, using the “tipster advanced analysis” function or our Academy.
In order to receive prizes in this contest:
- Submit your Skrill account in the page "Win Academy Points".
To participate in this contest you only need to place a TIP and select Academy contest.

Rules
- Risk limitations and maximum loss per month:
- The Accumulated Risk of every Tipster's Pending Tips can't be greater than 3000%,
- The Tipster Potential loss per month can't be greater than 3000% on the Academy global ranking. The Potential loss in a month is the sum of the confirmed loss in a month with the accumulated risk of pending Tips for games occurring that month.
- To receive prizes from this Tipster contest, you have to submit your Skrill account in the "Win Academy Points" page before the end of the month;
- You can only place pre-live Tips on the games available on our site;
- Only one Tip per market of each match is allowed;
- If a match is postponed for more than 48 hours, all the unsolved Tips of that game will be voided;
- For each contest the ROI is calculated using all the confirmed Tips of the month (beginning day 1 at 0h, GMT London);
- You have 24h after the end of the month to verify and communicate any fault in the classification;
- A minimum of 15 Tips and a Positive ROI in the month is needed to be able to receive the prizes;
- The ROI (Return On Investment) is calculated by the following formula:
Won Loss ROI (%) Trust degree x ( Odd - 1 ) x 100% - Trust degree x 100% Tip maximum profit capped at 400% - The maximum profit each Tip is 400%, being the ROI automatically capped at 400% (disregarding the exceeding value). You can place Tips with odds above 5.0 (or lower than 1.25 if it's a Lay), but the ROI you'll win to build your ranking in the Tipster contest is only 400%, which is equivalent to a Tip at odd 5.00 (or 1.25 in Lay);
- Tipster ranking tiebreakers criteria:
- largest amount of confirmed Tips that month (on the Academy Contest);
- raffle.
- The prizes will be paid in Skrill balance for you to deposit in the bookmaker you prefer. The prize should be paid within the first week after the end of the month. If you did not receive the prize, please check if the incoming transfer is pending acceptance in your Skrill account.
- The payment of the prizes is responsability of Betting Academy.
- Any omissions in these rules shall be resolved by the OnlineBettingAcademy.com management. The Betting Academy reserves the right to modify the rules of this contest at any time.
